That Fishy Smell
May 3, 2009 – Or, what it’s like to live in a Potemkin economy.

My nose is wrinkling a lot these days, as if continually assaulted by the stench of rotting fish. The rising tension in places such as Pakistan, plus the flu “pandemic” strike me as so many distractions from the bigger crisis rushing toward us, that of economic collapse, caused by the very elites running the world today.
Everywhere one looks they can see evidence of a Potemkin economy, between the inexplicably buoyant stock markets; the lackadaisical shrug by precious metals in response to the economic crises besieging us; the “shadow inventory” of as many as 600,000 foreclosed houses kept off the market in order to prop up prices (to give the size of that “shadow inventory” some perspective, the NAHB forecasts 510,000 housing starts in 2009); the recent banking sector “stress test,” which by all accounts was a public relations sham; the government buying its own debt to create the illusion of a healthy market for it; and the exceedingly low interest rates in response to unprecedented borrowing and spending. It all just looks so contrived.
As their personal fortunes decline, people around the world are beginning to wise up and see more clearly the truth of what is being done to them: the unprecedented theft of public and retirement funds by private bankers; the unrelenting push for global governance, a euphemism for global enslavement; the deliberate destruction of our food supply and the poisoning of our air and water.
This awakening among the masses probably explains why tensions in Pakistan and the Middle East are being stoked and why the swine/avian/beta-engineered flu, or whatever it is, has been hyped beyond all sanity, to frighten the momentarily audacious citizenry back into a submissive mindset.
Meanwhile, the ministry of truth, formerly known as the mainstream media, tells us the economy may have bottomed out. I believe nothing could be further from the truth and that behind the facade of contrived wellness, things are deteriorating as we speak, the myriad clues pointing to a climax sometime this fall.
I picture the powers-that-be struggling heroically to juggle the economy thus, while simultaneously trying to eek out profits for themselves and their cronies. I believe they can only continue this routine for so long before they drop one of the balls they are juggling, followed by the rest of them.
I think they know they cannot continue this charade indefinitely. I think they are simply trying to profit as long as possible, and then when they can no longer profit, they’ll switch to Plan B, which involves a new crisis (a flu pandemic this fall, for instance, once they perfect the virus and legislative policies after the current beta test), a new war (in Pakistan, for instance), or even martial law to control the unruly masses demanding retribution and force feed them deadly vaccines, for their own good, of course.
The saddest thing of all is that the scare tactics and fear mongering work. The people submissively crawl back into their comfort shells and wait to be “saved” by the very powers responsible for our problems, content in the meantime to be entertained by the boob tube and fed by the factory food assembly line. How can they not see?

there in the first place, and I know im gonna get my ass beat, when the Principle finally arrives.

Here in San Diego, they have been spraying chemtrails like I’ve never seen. Five days straight! The air is so murky at ground level one would think there was a forest fire nearby. I can’t help but wonder if that heavy chemtrail spraying is somehow related to this flu hysteria. After all, some people claim that chemtrails weaken the immune system, which would be most useful if one were also introducing some sort of pathogen into the same environment.
I also can’t help but wonder what is wrong with people that they think they have the right to knowingly harm other people, or even direct other peoples’ lives for them, even if it’s “for their own good.” Hypocritically, those who feel they have a right to lord over others this way take umbrage when others do the same to them.

Speaking of chemtrails, a couple years ago on the Charles Goyette radio show here in the valley of the sun it was mentioned in passing that there might be chemicals added to jet fuel. Well the phone lines went crazy for the remainder of the show. It seems that a lot of people think that some sort of sedative is being added to the fuel. Now I do not believe in conspiracy theories much (simply for the fact it is about impossible to keep any number of people from telling someone something). But how else do you explain the apathy of the American people. Are we really that dumbed down? There should be pitch forks in the streets.

That’s an interesting theory, one I have not heard before.
As for the existence of chemtrails, one need only look at the sky. I have seen two jets flying parallel, miles apart but at more or less the same altitude. One was leaving a normal contrail that evaporated within a few seconds and the other was leaving a chemtrail that never evaporated, but simply spread out widely. Clearly there is something different about the composition of those two trails. What, I don’t know.

Dave, I can assure you that the chemtrail spraying this Spring in Southern New England has been off the charts – we were sprayed for a minimum of 9 straight days from 4/24 – 5/2/09 (and I say “minimum” because a series of low pressure systems is now affecting us with periodic rain and a thick cloud deck, so I don’t know whther we are being sprayed or not the past few days).
As far as apathy…if the anecdotes/reports are correct, and aluminum is part of the program, that would help to explain why people are very forgetful/confused, as aluminum negatively affects cognitive ability.
As the macro situation continues to deteriorate, those in power will grow increasingly desperate in their actions. Think of Shakespeare’s Richard III (or whatever character) proclaiming “A Horse! A horse! My kingdom for a horse!” – the insane futility of trading the kingdom for a horse so he can regain his kingdom.

Today was the sixth day of spraying, although not as heavily – I think it’s tapering off. I looked at the Chemtrail Alert System yesterday and it showed essentially all of the U.S. and Canada as being sprayed. Oddly enough, yesterday showed Mexico not being sprayed at all. Today the map shows much the same, except that there are a few patches not being sprayed, including southern California. Perhaps what I saw this morning was residue from the last few days. By afternoon it was pretty clear.
I don’t know how credible that Chemtrail Alert System is or where it gets its information from, but it does seem to jibe with my observations sometimes. Of course, that could simply be random chance.
Nevertheless, there was no disputing the intense spraying activity here the last few days. I had to go out in it a few times and I swear it made my nasal passages feel irritated. The unprecedented – at least as far as I’ve observed – intensity of this recent spraying activity makes me wonder if something is up. It seems like they are pulling out all the stops to inflict maximum effect on the people.

You know Dave, I haden’t put two and two together on the chemtrail and swine flu situation possibility.
IE. I have not considered a connection between the two. Now, I am, for what ever that is worth.
I can’t give you any reports from here in Central Illinois, cause it has been, more or less, cloud cover with rain. But I have not noticed any activity otherwise, overhead. And I do watch for that now.
Dave, for your Information, someone you and I are fimillure with, someone who operates another place where you and I comment often, He is in the hospital, and it is relitivly serious.

Yeah Dave, he’s out now and home.
it turned out to be only a 24 hr stay and not the week that was originally thought. He’s a pretty tough dude. he was suppose to go straight to bed but he has been up and at the terminal doing what it is he does so well.
Dave,,,,,I’ve been thinking about swine flu and chemtrails. all day.
Just considering all the possibillities.
